Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of efnweb.com , there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for efnweb.com:

  1. Home Page: For aesthetics, some text content overlays images with varying background colors, shades, and textures, which may cause lower than recommended foreground-background contrast. The issue occurs depending on viewport size, where some content may overlay an unfortunate part of a background image. We continue to monitor the issue. When the issue occurs, try resizing the viewport (i.e., resize the browser window, or on mobile, try switching orientation between portrait and landscape).
  2. Cookie Pro banner: Although we have removed the Cookie Pro "close banner" button from the interface (as we are required to force an end-user choice), the button still appears in the HTML and is flagged in our testing. The issue occurs because of the way the vendor, Cookie Pro, has designed the banner's functionality. We have determined that this is a non-issue for our end-users since we are not allowing the Cookie Pro banner to be closed without making a cookie choice. Contact us if the issue causes issues for accessibility software.
  3. Off-canvas menu: May not be accessible by keyboard commands. The menu is part of the site's third-party design template, and, to our knowledge, the vendor developer is aware of the issue. We have provided alternate ways to access the site's content via alternative links, menus, and a sitemap. If the off-canvas menu cannot be accessed, use of the alternative navigation options allows access to the same content.
  4. Google Reviews Module on the Home and Testimonials pages: The underlying HTML contains duplicate element IDs, which violates HTML standards set forth by the World-Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The HTML containing the duplicate IDs shipped with the third-party software that embeds our Google Reviews. The issue has been reported to the third-party developer. This may not cause usability issues, although it is an HTML compliancy violation. Report to us accessibility concerns with the Google Reviews implementation.
